Another successful Diamond League for Laurel
International Association of Athletics Federations President Lamine Diack, His Excellency Dahlan Al Hamad, President of the Qatari Athletics Federation and QAF General Secretary Mohammed Al Kuwari officially welcomed athletes from all over the world, officials and international media.
A star cast was headed by World Athlete of the Year Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (JAM), the two-time Olympic 100m champion and reigning 100 and 200m world champion; Mutaz Barshim (QAT), the reigning world indoor champion in the high jump; Genzebe Dibaba (ETH), the world indoor 3000m champion and double world record holder indoors; and many more others.
